Landscape Of My Mind (2024)
This hand-embroidered artwork, titled Landscape of My Mind, is an abstract exploration of thoughts, emotions, and memories expressed through vibrant colors and flowing forms. Each stitched shape represents shifting terrains of the inner world—sometimes calm, sometimes chaotic, but always alive with energy. Much like a landscape that changes with light and season, the mind too holds layers of complexity, imagination, and wonder. Through thread and texture, I tried to give form to that invisible yet deeply felt space within.

Mumbai University Library Block (2024)
Growing up in Khopoli, a town just a few hours from Mumbai, I never really thought about Mumbai University beyond the name on my mark sheets. That changed when I first saw a photo of its stunning Library Block — a Victorian masterpiece designed in the 1800s by Sir George Gilbert Scott, who created it from London without ever visiting Bombay. In a way, I felt connected to him — I too had never visited Mumbai University during my student years, yet it was always part of my identity. Discovering this UNESCO World Heritage Site ignited a spark in me, and I chose to honor it through hand embroidery, capturing its timeless beauty in thread. This artwork is not just a building; it’s a tribute to history, heritage, and the surprising ways we connect to places we once overlooked.

The Rainbow Mountain (2024)
Time Taken: 26 Hours
Somewhere over the rainbow is definitely in Peru. I loved making this spectacular array of natural colorful stripes made up of 14 different minerals. It's called Vinicunca or Montaña de siete colores (Mountain of seven colors). Though the thread colors I have used are way brighter than the actual colors - taking my creative liberty here. This must be definitely on my travel bucket list.

Lofoten (2020)
This embroidery is unlike any other in my collection — it carries a piece of my heart and our story. It was created by my loving partner, my husband, and my best friend, Anand. During the dark days of the pandemic, when the world shut down, offices closed, and salaries were paused, Anand picked up this new skill to help me continue building my collection so we could keep the inflow of money. What he stitched into this hoop was not just thread, but love, resilience, and a kind of perfection born out of pure care. The Lofoten landscape has always fascinated him, and so this became the subject of his very first embroidery. But Anand boldly chose this place, not only for its breathtaking landscapes but also as a vision to travel there one day, even when our earnings didn’t match such big dreams. Stitching this piece felt like keeping that dream alive. For that reason, this hoop is priceless. It isn’t just art — it’s a memory, a testament, a diamond I choose to keep in my own museum of emotions. While you may see it listed among available artworks, it is not for sale in the usual sense. If it is ever to leave our hands, it will only be for someone who truly understands the depth, love, and story woven into it. And when that moment comes, Anand and I would want to deliver it in person.

Monochromatic Kedarnath (2024)
Time Taken: 37 Hours | Price: INR 8000
I love this temple’s vibe. To convey a distinct aura of Lord Shiva's diverse personas, I created a monochromatic rendition of the Kedarnath Temple, deviating from its original color scheme. Just like the photographs of Kedarnath in black and white decades ago, this embroidery work also exudes a similar captivating effect. I used only satin stitches in all black and white shades and just small red flag on the top which is actually not there in real. While the frame is 8” and crafted from high-quality Red Pinewood and secured with brass screws.
